When I delete a "favorite" from the IE menu, it goes to a place on the desktop called "Recycle Bin". Then if you REALLY want to delete it, that is done from here.
Now on Mozilla (Firefox) browser, when you delete a "bookmark" there is no Recycle bin. So is it deleted or just stays on the hard drive or whatever?
What's the point of a recycle bin ?

Recycle bin is to save you from a lot of "oopppssss its really gone" , instead of "Deleting" it from your harddrive at once (in quotation marks because even after you delete it and empty the recycle bin its STILL there) you have the oportunity to get it back in case you need the file.

It all depends on how the browser stores bookmarks. I'm not familiar with mozilla, but it sounds like it puts them in a text file. IE on the other hand saves them as individual pages in a folder.
